The Villa Maria Foundation is dedicated to the holistic development of vulnerable children aged 2 to 18, providing a nurturing environment that mirrors a loving family. Operating for nearly two decades, we've supported thousands of children, with close to 300 currently in our care. Located on over 200 acres at Nabyewanga, Masaka Road (just after the Equator crossing and before Lwera), we ensure sustainability by growing our own food, including coffee and fish. Our reach extends across Mpigi, Masaka, Kampala, and all areas in between, assisting children with tuition up to high school.
We envision a future where all children are safe, healthy, educated, and empowered to reach their full potential.

Our own school educates our children and is also open to privately sponsored students.

It's been incredibly rewarding to collaborate with children and youth, sharing my knowledge and supporting their blossoming as they embark on their education and life journeys.
My desire to assist needy children started many years ago while I was still pursuing studies in the major seminary. Whenever I visited home from school, I came across a child or two in the neighbourhood of Villa Maria (Village of Mary) who remained at home due to parents or guardians inability to pay school fees. This saddened my heart. But I could not do anything then. When I lost my own dear mother, Regina, I realised that the problem had now actually hit my own household! My younger brothers and sisters were also threatened with dropping out of school.
A CPA with a Bachelor of Commerce Degree with practical work experience in the business world, Jacintha was also a former professional performer who grew up on stages world wide performing fundraising shows for orphans in Uganda. Her education was sponsored by another charity organization in which she spearheaded the fundraising efforts as a children's spokesperson. It has always been Jacintha's dream to use her personal experiences to help other orphans and vulnerable children of Uganda.
Am Nambirige Bettie,I studied at St Theresa Primary School Bwanda for my elementary grade,then Trinity College Nabbingo for high School. Ndejje University and attained a bachelors degree in Business Administration. After I joined Villa Maria Chidren Foundation where I work as a Finance Administrator.
